Vote in the June 2, 2026 Democratic Primary Election!

New this year, voters registered as Independent or Declined to State can vote in Democratic or Republican primaries.

You can also register to vote in person through “Same Day Registration” during Early Voting and Election Day at Voting Convenience Centers.

Absentee Voting by Mail

You can request an absentee ballot now! The easiest way is to request your absentee ballot online. lYou can track the status of your absentee ballot here. Returning your absentee ballot is easy. You can:Return your ballot by mail, using the pre-paid return envelope.Hand deliver your absentee ballot to the Clerk’s Annex starting or at any Voting Convenience Center beginning May 16 through election day on June 2. The last day to request an absentee ballot is May 19. All absentee ballots must be received by 7pm on election day, June 2. If you still have your absentee ballot on May 29, we strongly encourage you to hand deliver your ballot to a Voting Convenience Center. 

Early Voting In-Person

Early voting in-person begins on May 5 only at County Clerk’s Annex (1500 Lomas Blvd NW, Suite A, 87104), Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (May 5 – May 15, 2022). Starting on May 16 and for Expanded Early Voting, times are extended to Monday – Saturday 10am – 7pm through May 30, 2022. Expanded Early Voting at Voting Convenience Centers begins on May 16 through May 30. You can vote at any of the twenty (20) Voting Convenience Center in Bernalillo county. You can find the most convenient Voting Convenience Center here. Voting Convenience Centers are open from Monday through Saturday, 10am to 7pm.
