PRIORITIES

My priorities for County Assessor are:

• To lead the effort to make property taxes more progressive by increasing the head-of-family tax exemption, which hasn’t increased in over three decades

• To continue to pursue affordable housing and neighborhood safety by increasing assessments on zombie and nuisance properties

• To lead by example with scrupulous ethics, transparency, and honesty
